When you email, call or contact me through LinkedIn, I process the data you choose to share with me. This may include your name, email address, phone number, message and any context you send along.
If you use a form on the site to compose an email, that email is sent by your own email app. The website does not store the contents of that form.
The site only stores your language preference in your browser, so that a future visit opens in the same language. This is stored locally on your own device.
I use data to respond to your message, schedule a meeting, carry out a collaboration or mentoring conversation, keep administration and keep the site technically safe.
The legal basis is usually your request to make contact, the performance of an agreement or my legitimate interest in keeping my website and communication working well.
I do not sell data. I do not use advertising profiles. I do not place tracking cookies. I do not use analytics on this site that follow visitors.
The website is hosted by Vercel. Like almost every website, technical logs may be created, for example to investigate errors, prevent abuse and keep the site available.
This site links to external websites, such as LinkedIn, Syntrociety, Mentor, SYFERS, Bridge and dj.floris.pro. When you open one of those links, the privacy policy of that external website applies.
I do not keep data longer than needed for contact, collaboration, legal administration or a reasonable period in which I may need to find something back.
You can ask what data I have about you, or ask me to correct, delete or stop using it. Email contact@floris.pro for that.
If you believe I am not handling your data carefully, you can also contact the privacy authority in your country.
